Should Bonnybridge be in line for a station?
29 JuneShould we get a railway station? A letter in The Herald names Bonnybridge as one of "a raft" of Scottish towns which urgently need one.
Colin C Maclean of Edinburgh wrote to the paper saying: "Central Scotland urgently needs a raft of new railway stations serving the needs of many of the mushrooming dormitory communities. Bonnybridge, Cambus, Kirkliston, Lauriston, Law and Winchburgh are but some. Transport Scotland, overseer of all projects, continues to thwart the desires of these towns' citizens by saying there is no money available. Yet it is pouring funds into the Edinburgh trams, the biggest failure to date of Scotland's transport system. When will the citizens' voice be heard by such quangos?"

So what do we all think? Should Bonnybridge get a railway station?
