Bonnybridge woman Laura-Ann has the look to win modelling deal

  • Laura-Ann Smith from Bonnybridge won the nationwide 'Star in a Bra' competition

Bonnybridge hair salon manager Laura-Ann Smith has won a modelling contract with leading lingerie brand Curvy Kate after she took the top prize in the nationwide 'Star in a Bra' competition.

Laura-Ann, who runs the Smiths Hairdressing salon in Bonnybridge, won out in a public vote over thousands of entries from across the UK in the competition, and then again in a final group of ten before the winner was chosen.

Laura-Ann said: "I want to be a Bra-Star because I come from a family of girls who all have larger busts so much so one of them under went a breast reduction in 2007. I want to make aware to women of all shapes and sizes that they should love what they have been blessed with and be proud to be the next star in a bra!"
