Birthday girl Jane toasts her centenary with a fizz
30 AugustA great-gran in Bonnybridge has enjoyed a sparkling 100th birthday celebration, and said that the secret of her long life is a daily dose of Irn-Bru.
Jane Graham, who lives in a care home in the town, has enjoyed a glass of the nation's other favourite drink every day for as long as her family can remember - and she celebrated her big day with her usual glass of Irn-Bru - with a nip of gin.
She marked the occasion with family and friends, a letter from the Queen - and a crate of Irn-Bru from makers Barrs.
Jane's son Jackie, 80, travelled from Spain for her birthday party, which was also attended by Falkirk provost Pat Reid.
